What is covered

Calendar72 covers the FBS: a calendar for every team, one calendar per conference, and one with every FBS game.

Single teams

Every FBS program, from Alabama, Ohio State and Texas to Boise State, Navy and James Madison. Independents such as Notre Dame and UConn are there too.

Whole conferences

One calendar per conference with every game of all its teams.

All of college football

One calendar with every FBS game of the season. Busy on a Saturday, but complete.

Postseason

Bowl and playoff games are added to the team calendars once the matchups are set.

Conference calendars:

  • SEC
  • Big Ten
  • ACC
  • Big 12
  • American Conference
  • Mountain West
  • Sun Belt
  • MAC
  • Conference USA
  • Pac-12

How it works

  1. Install Calendar72

Get the free app from the App Store on your iPhone.

  2. Pick your team or conference

Choose American football, then college football. Open a conference to see its teams, then take the whole conference or a single team.

  3. Add it to your calendar

Tap to add it. Apple Calendar asks you to confirm with Subscribe, and you are done. For Google Calendar the app walks you through one short step in the browser; for Outlook you add the calendar once in Outlook on a computer. With Google and Outlook it then shows up on every device signed in to that account.

Why kickoff times change, and how the calendar handles it

In college football, many kickoff times and TV slots are announced only a week or two before the game. Until then, the game sits on its planned date in your calendar, marked with a *. Calendar72 checks the schedules every day; once the time is announced, the entry moves to the confirmed day and time, and the * disappears. Your calendar app fetches the change on its next refresh.

Games are shown in your own time zone, whether you watch from Tuscaloosa or from Berlin.

What it costs

Nothing. Calendar72 is free to download, and every calendar in it is free to subscribe to.

Questions about the college football calendar

Can I subscribe to a whole conference?
Yes. Every FBS conference has its own calendar with all games of its teams. There is also one calendar with every FBS game.
Is my team included?
Every FBS team has its own calendar, including the independents. If you are looking for a program outside the FBS, send a request in the app.
What does the * in front of a game mean?
The kickoff time has not been announced yet. The game sits on its planned date; date and time are updated automatically once they are confirmed.
Does it work with Google Calendar or Outlook, not just Apple Calendar?
Yes. Apple Calendar is one tap. For Google Calendar the app guides you through one short step in the browser, and for Outlook you add the calendar once in Outlook on a computer. From then on it updates on its own, on every device signed in to that account.
Is there an Android app?
There is no Android app yet. Calendar72 is an iPhone app, and choosing and subscribing happens in the app. If you add a calendar to Google Calendar or Outlook, it appears wherever that account is signed in.
