What is covered

Calendar72 covers the top three divisions of German football and the DFB-Pokal. For each league you choose: one calendar for a single club, or one calendar with every match of the league.

Bundesliga

A calendar for every Bundesliga club, and one with all league matches. Club calendars also include the DFB-Pokal, the Supercup, European matches, relegation play-offs and friendlies.

2. Bundesliga

Every club on its own, or the whole league in one calendar. Club calendars include the DFB-Pokal, the promotion and relegation play-offs and friendlies.

3. Liga

Every 3. Liga club, or all matches of the league in one calendar. Club calendars also carry the club's DFB-Pokal ties.

DFB-Pokal

The whole cup in one calendar, from the first round to the final in Berlin. New ties are added after each draw.

If you follow one team, the club calendar is the simplest choice: league, cup and Europe in one place, from FC Bayern and Borussia Dortmund to your local 3. Liga side. The league calendars are for everyone who wants every match on their radar, for example for a prediction game with friends.

How it works

  1. Install Calendar72

Get the free app from the App Store on your iPhone.

  2. Pick your club or league

Choose football, then Bundesliga, 2. Bundesliga, 3. Liga or DFB-Pokal. Take the whole league or tap a single club.

  3. Add it to your calendar

Tap to add it. Apple Calendar asks you to confirm with Subscribe, and you are done. For Google Calendar the app walks you through one short step in the browser; for Outlook you add the calendar once in Outlook on a computer. With Google and Outlook it then shows up on every device signed in to that account.

Always up to date

The DFL fixes exact kick-off times only a few matchdays in advance, and matches get moved because of European games, cup ties or TV scheduling. Calendar72 checks the schedules every day and updates the entries in your calendar: new kick-off times, moved matches, newly drawn cup ties. Your calendar app fetches the changes on its own: Apple Calendar usually within a few hours, Google Calendar and Outlook can take up to a day. You never have to open Calendar72 again for that.

Time not confirmed yet? Look for the *

Some matches are scheduled long before their exact start time is known. Calendar72 puts them on the planned date with a * in front of the title and a short note in the event. As soon as the time is confirmed, the * disappears and the entry moves to the confirmed day and time. So you can plan your weekend early and still see which times are final.

What it costs

Nothing. Calendar72 is free to download, and every calendar in it is free to subscribe to.

Questions about the Bundesliga calendar

Can I subscribe to just my club?
Yes. Pick your club instead of the whole league. The club calendar has the league and the DFB-Pokal, and for Bundesliga clubs the European matches as well.
Does it work with Google Calendar or Outlook, not just Apple Calendar?
Yes. Apple Calendar is one tap. For Google Calendar the app guides you through one short step in the browser, and for Outlook you add the calendar once in Outlook on a computer. From then on it updates on its own, on every device signed in to that account.
Do I get live scores or results?
No. Calendar72 is about the schedule: the date, the start time and who is playing, right in your calendar. Reminders come from your calendar app, with the alerts you set there.
Is there an Android app?
There is no Android app yet. Calendar72 is an iPhone app, and choosing and subscribing happens in the app. If you add a calendar to Google Calendar or Outlook, it appears wherever that account is signed in.
How do I remove a calendar again?
Delete the subscription in your calendar app. In Apple Calendar, tap Calendars, then the info button next to the calendar, and choose Delete Calendar.
